The Waterstone project is a mid-rise condominium development located in Playa Vista, California. The project is comprised of 116-residential 1-2 bedroom units, a 280-stall parking structure, recreation center and site improvements. The structure is a 4-story, wood frame, Type-V residential building over a 2-level, below grade parking structure. Intracorp, a Canadian- and US-based real estate company was the managing member.
As Owner’s Representative, Aurora provided construction management services including assistance with construction-related budgeting, value engineering, contract negotiations, field activities, scheduling and payment application approvals. Additionally, Aurora assisted with the coordination of the Owner’s architect and consultants, permits, entitlement/master plan compliance approvals, quality control program, Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and homeowner upgrades program.
