Phase 2B of the LACMA Transformation Project is a major renovation of the historic May Company Building located in the Miracle Mile district of Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. The building is 70-year-old, 5-story, streamline moderne structure of approximately 300,000 square feet. The project will provide extensive new program areas including art galleries, food service, retail, special event space, visitor amenities and office space for LACMA employees.
Aurora is providing Project and Construction Management services including assistance with the management of entitlements (compliance with a pre-existing development agreement), contract negotiations, budgeting, scheduling, direction of the architect and consultants, value engineering, city approvals, management of the general contractor, oversight of quality control programs and coordination with operations.
