LACMA TRANSFORMATION PHASE 2A

Phase 2A of the LACMA Transformation Project included the design and construction of the new Resnick Exhibition Pavilion for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  The new structure is a 60,000 square foot, single story, double-height building on an existing 2-story subterranean parking garage that was built during Phase I of the Transformation Project.  Other project elements include extensive landscape and hardscape improvements, a central plant upgrade and off-site traffic improvements.  The project was designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Renzo Piano.

Aurora provided Project and Construction Management services including assistance with the management of entitlements (compliance with a pre-existing  development agreement), contract negotiations, budgeting, scheduling, direction of the architect and consultants, value engineering, city approvals, management of the general contractor, oversight of quality control programs and coordination with operations.
