The Specialty Laboratories project is a laboratory and corporate headquarters located in Santa Clarita, California.  Specialty Laboratories is a research-based clinical laboratory that primarily focuses on esoteric clinical laboratory tests.  The project was a build-to-suit development inclusive of all shell/core and tenant improvement design and construction per the program requirements of Specialty Laboratories. 
          
Aurora provided development consulting services to Lowe Enterprises and Specialty Laboratories.  While previously employed at Lowe, Aurora personnel supervised the development and construction management of the project, which included assistance with land acquisition and due diligence, lease and financing consulting, entitlements, budgeting, scheduling, direction of the architect and all consultants, city approvals, selection and management of a general contractor, tenant improvements, and job cost accounting.
